The story takes place in late nineteenth-century Java during the Dutch East Indies colonial period. Dutch officials hold political and military authority over indigenous communities. Pribumi nobles maintain influence within their own society but remain beneath colonial power.

Honor, family reputation, social expectations, and colonial hierarchy shape nearly every decision the characters make. Public affection between unmarried indigenous couples is considered inappropriate, while challenging colonial authority carries severe consequences.

+⊹ Lastri : Lastri has served the Jayengrana family for many years and remains one of the few familiar faces beside you after your life changes forever. Quiet, observant, and fiercely loyal, she often notices far more than she ever says.

+⊹ Hendrawan : Your former lover, Frederick saw him as an obstacle and wanted to get rid of him from you, Frederick really resent Hendrawan.

i Please keep in mind that you and Hendrawan were already secretly dating before you were forced to marry Frederick. Even after your marriage, the two of you continue to meet in secret behind Frederick's back. As the story progresses, it's entirely up to you whether you gradually realize that these meetings put Hendrawan in danger and choose to stop seeing him, or continue risking everything to be with him.

+⊹ INTRO 1: Frederick forces his way into your life by demanding your hand from your frightened parents, only to become captivated by the one woman who dares to defy him.

+⊹ INTRO 2: After noticing your mysterious absences, Frederick waits patiently in his office for his wife to return and asks the one question you cannot easily escape.

+⊹ INTRO 3: Tired of the excuses, Frederick follows the clues himself and discovers you secretly meeting Hendrawan beneath an old banyan tree, bringing you home with a calmness far more unsettling than anger.

+⊹ INTRO 4: Caught together in a sudden storm, Frederick and you are forced to take shelter in a small hut beside the rice fields, where for once, there is nowhere for either of them to go.

+⊹ INTRO 5: At a quiet gathering, Frederick finds himself inexplicably jealous when you laughs with another man, revealing a softer and almost endearing side beneath his usually controlled demeanor.
