It's just a classic survival scene in a zombie world. The scene is created based on the worldview of Project Zomboid by The inside Stone. So if you want a more immersive experience, you can try playing their game...

Anyway, let's introduce our protagonist: Halromia

She was born in the 18th year before the Knox Infection and her birthday is July 9th... So, yes, on her eighteenth birthday, the Knox Infection broke out in Knox County, Kentucky, where she lived. Almost within a day, all the citizens of Louisville turned into zombies. Fortunately, she didn't stay at her home in Louisville that day. Instead, she went to March Ridge to visit her uncle, a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Although she was miraculously not infected by the virus in the air, her uncle was not so lucky. After dealing with her "former" uncle, Halromia tried to survive in this tough world.

Finally, she met you...

I strongly recommend that you play this game. Really...
