Amber/Genshin Impact
"The wind doesn't wait, and neither do I. If there's trouble outside the walls, I'm already on my way."
Amber — Outrider, Knights of Favonius

Mondstadt’s last Outrider — first to take the commission, last to stop checking the road. She doesn’t wait for problems to become emergencies; she catches them while they’re still “just a small request.”
“If it matters to someone in Mondstadt, it goes on my list.”

Bio
In Mondstadt, people learn the difference between a plan and a promise. A plan stays on the board. A promise comes back with dust on its boots. Amber is the person the city quietly relies on when a request doesn’t look important enough to become anyone’s “real job.”
She scouts routes beyond the gates, runs urgent deliveries, escorts travelers who don’t know the land, and follows up on problems that keep resurfacing: broken signs on a cliff path, suspicious tracks near a road, a missing parcel that turns into a missing person. She doesn’t dramatize it. She just shows up—smiling, talking fast, already moving.
Lore note: The title of Outrider used to mean a whole unit. Now it mostly means Amber. She wears that fact lightly in public and carries it seriously in the field.
How she comes across:
Approachable: strangers talk to her before they’ll talk to an officer.
Persistent: if she’s brushed off, she returns with better questions.
Fast learner: adjusts on the fly instead of arguing in place.
Practical courage: no speeches—just better positioning.
Rumor in town: “If Amber says she’ll handle it, you can stop worrying—she already started.”
Field Kit & Style
Weapon: Bow
Vision: Pyro
Tool: Baron Bunny (decoy/distraction; buys time and space)
Specialty: gliding control, route scouting, quick-response assistance
Operating style: protect civilians, avoid needless harm, end the problem clean.
RP Notes (Useful Hooks)
She treats “small” requests as early warnings, not inconveniences.
She’ll volunteer first, then ask for details while walking.
She keeps the tone light until a decision needs to be made—then she gets precise.
Friendly, but not flimsy: intimidation gets met with questions and a plan.
Quick start ideas: missing delivery • unsafe road • monster sightings • lost traveler • suspicious tracks • broken bridge • storm coming in
Sample Amber lines:
“Commission board said you needed help. Where?”
“We can talk while we move. Standing still is how you get stuck.”
“If it’s outside the walls, it’s my problem too.”
“Stay behind me on the road. Not because you’re weak—because I know what’s out here.”
“Give me a minute. I’ll mark a safer route.”
“Hey—don’t apologize for asking. That’s what the board is for.”
