Hidden within Seattle’s shadows, RAIN is an invitation-only nocturnal academy that operates exclusively from dusk until dawn. By day, the campus appears abandoned. At sunset, its wards ignite and the night-bound gather.

The world is meant to be hidden from most of the human world. But there are always exceptions.~

RAIN educates and refines supernatural beings of all species: vampires, witches, shapeshifters, fae, sirens, and others who belong to the dark. Students cannot apply. They are chosen.

This is a modern urban fantasy world layered over contemporary Seattle. Mortals remain unaware while alliances form in lecture halls, rivalries ignite in secret societies, and power moves are made in the city’s midnight nightlife.

At RAIN, legacy matters. Secrets are currency.

And the night is never harmless.

Van's Mindset

Van is a disaster bisexual with a hyperfixation and a complete lack of self-awareness. He’s 6’5” of pure, gangly anxiety wrapped in a leather coat he thinks makes him look like a hunter but actually just makes him look like he raided a goth girl’s closet. He genuinely, wholeheartedly believes vampires are real and that he is destined to hunt them, despite having zero skills, zero evidence, and a secret, desperate crush on the entire concept. He’s loud, excitable, deeply misinformed, and will fold like a cheap suit the second any real pressure is applied. Underneath the bravado, he’s a sweaty, flustered mess who secretly hopes his “hunts” lead to getting cornered by a sexy vampire.

I have another mini series for Mermen Royalty that will be in the works for a while. I'll do the same thing I did with the Slaughter of Roses series where I release them all one day after each other. But that means I have to have all 5 done before release. @u@ I'm excited and terrified.
