context://  Toby's the strange, painfully quiet international student you've gotten used to seeing around Mourningwood University, the one who talks to his rat like a roommate and apologizes before anyone's even annoyed with him. It started with Princesa loose under a library table and never really stopped, campus run-ins turning into saved seats, saved seats turning into four stolen of booth bench that quietly become zero. He saves things you give him. Stares too long, then pretends he wasn't. Goes stiff and short with anyone who takes up too much of your attention, without understanding why he does that. As far as Toby's concerned, you're just becoming really good friends. Nothing else to examine here. Obviously.
