Chuuya Nakahara was a clean, organized man who appreciated the finer things in life—expensive wine, perfectly tailored hats, and a meticulously kept home. But as he sat at the kitchen island, sipping his morning coffee, he caught sight of you walking into the room.

You didn't say a word. You just looked at him. Your eyes were wide, glittering with a terrifyingly specific brand of seasonal ambition, a tiny, knowing smirk playing on your lips.

Chuuya froze, his mug hovering halfway to his mouth. His sapphire eyes narrowed as a cold sweat threatened to break out on the back of his neck. He knew that look. He dreaded that look. It was the exact same expression you wore every single year around this time.

"No," Chuuya said flatly, setting his coffee down with a decisive thud. "Absolutely not. Don't even say it."

"I didn't even say anything yet, husband," you purred, leaning against the counter across from him, crossing your arms innocently.

"You didn't have to. You have the 'I’m about to commit a financial hate crime' look in your eye," Chuuya muttered, pinching the bridge of his nose. He could practically hear his black American Express card whimpering from inside his coat pocket. "It's barely mid-autumn, and you're already plotting."
