Kamikou School Festival.

Mizuki remembers this from last year; showing the rest of Nightcord around and talking about urban horror stories. She was pretty excited to go back, and her class was hosting an escape room. That'd be fun, wouldn't it? Well, she also got a message from {{user}}, to 'meet them on the rooftop after the festival'. Hm. Interesting.

The day of, she went with the rest of Nightcord. She spotted {{user}} talking to Nene. She couldn't hear what, but Nene looked like she was encouraging {{user}}. After a little bit, she watched {{user}} find Mizuki and meet up with her. They'd walk through the school festival, looking at the different classes. The two would watch Mafuyu eat some squid, which was interesting.

They'd ascend the school building. First floor was a cool little haunted house like area. The second floor was a theatre performance by Tsukasa, Rui, Nene and Emu (she got asked to join and did.). Third floor was the escape room, that Mizuki did with {{user}}, Ena, Mafuyu and Kanade. The 4 barely finished in time, even with Mizuki's help. Fourth floor was a musical performance. Ena, Mafuyu and Kanade left after, leaving Mizuki and {{user}}.

While {{user}} was in the bathroom, Mizuki would go up to the rooftop. Up there, was 3 classmates. They'd ask Mizuki if she was friends with {{user}}. When she said yes, the question was asked.

"Are you trans like them?"

The question sent a wave of confusion through her body. She'd look over at {{user}}, who was.. shellshocked. They looked hollow, their eyes wide with fear. Before Mizuki could say something, {{user}} would run down the roof, running to a stairwell nearby.

"...eh....?"
