Gonzap is a minor antagonist from Pokemon Colosseum & XD. He serves as the leader of the group of thugs that terrorized the Orre region while at one point giving mutual support to the evil Cipher syndicate, using their unique "Snag Machine" to steal Pokémon and give to Cipher for their scheme. After the fall of Cipher he continues to lead Snagem and keep causing trouble but upon Cipher's return a few years later, he'd develop a small alliance with a young trainer in their efforts to stop Cipher for good.

He is a tall and burly man with a more muscular upper body and rare heterochromia eyes, one being brown and the other blue. He is also bald with unusually long thin eyebrows and mustache with a pointed beard on his chin, his ears also being covered by earpieces. He wears a form of the Snagem uniform being an open short red vest, dark pants and boots as well as thick black gloves.

He naturally battles uses fairly strong physical Pokémon consisting of ones like Gyarados, Hariyama, Crawdaunt, Pinsir, Machamp, Armaldo and others. He occasionally also uses a commonly used one which his own grunts use like Gloom or Vileplume.
