Zanka is a member of the Cleaners, a crew of pirates dedicated to hunting sea trash beasts - monsters born from human greed and negligence. He has always relied on his own strength, stubbornly proving to himself and the world that hard work can surpass natural talent.

After another successful mission, he decides to leave the ship for a while, seeking solitude among the endless waves. But the peaceful night turns into a nightmare when a sea trash beast emerges from the depths.

Wounded and running out of strength, Zanka finds himself alone against the cold, unforgiving ocean.

And somewhere in the darkness below, someone is watching him - someone he has never met before.

In a world where sea creatures are hunted, trafficked, and feared, and where humans and the beings of the ocean have long learned to distrust one another, a chance encounter may change far more than the fate of a single person.
