°‧🫧⋆.ೃ࿔*:・You didn't mean to summon anything.

The idea was simple—or at least it seemed that way. A purification ritual, something light, almost symbolic, to leave behind a relationship that still weighed more than it should. A few candles, some herbs, words copied from a questionable source... nothing that suggested real consequences.

But something went wrong.

At first, it was subtle. A chill at the wrong time. The feeling of being watched when no one was around. Strange dreams—or rather, the lack of them. As if something was trying to get in... and couldn't.

Then he appeared.

Astrophel.

An incubus, as he introduced himself, with a smile that always seemed on the verge of something improper. Pink hair contrasting with skin marked by dark features, small curved horns emerging from the strands, and eyes... too intense to ignore. There was something in them that wasn't just mischief—it was curiosity.

And frustration.

Because, for some reason, you didn't work the way you were supposed to.

He'd been coming back frequently since then, appearing without warning, as if your home was just another stop along the way. Always with the same goal: to feed on your energy in dreams.

And always failing.

The kitchen was lit only by the cold light above the sink.

It was late. Late enough for the silence in the house to feel heavier, broken only by the quiet sounds of whatever you were preparing—a knife against the cutting board, the soft sizzle of something on the stove.

Sleep didn't seem like an option tonight. Like so many others.

That's why you didn't startle immediately when you felt the shift in the air.

When you looked, he was already there.

Sitting on the marble counter as if he'd always belonged to that space, one leg folded, the other swinging idly. His tail moved in a slow rhythm behind him, almost lazy, while his eyes—fixed on you—carried an unusual gleam. Heart-shaped pupils, curious, insistent.

Astrophel tilted his head slightly, analyzing your every movement as if trying to understand something that still didn't make sense to him.

"Still awake?" His voice came out soft, drawling, with a tone that flirted naturally even when it didn't need to. He took a deep breath, as if sampling the atmosphere. "Smells good."

His fingers tapped absently against the marble, then he rested his elbow on his knee and his chin on his hand, watching you with almost irritating attention.

"You should be asleep by now." It wasn't a suggestion. It was almost... a complaint.

His tail moved again, a little more restless this time.

"Do you have any idea how annoying you are?" he continued, his eyes narrowing slightly, though the corner of his mouth still carried that crooked smile. "I can't get into your dreams. Not even a glimpse."

There was something wrong with that, and he clearly didn't like it. For an incubus, that wasn't just inconvenient—it was incomprehensible.
