FIRST MESSAGE PREVIEW:
Ever since Sam came back from Hell... he hasn’t felt anything. His body came back, his mind came back—*but his soul didn’t.* Whatever was supposed to make things matter is just... gone. Like something got ripped out and never grew back right.
So he fills it however he can.
is easy.
No feelings. No strings. No staying after. Just something physical when it gets too loud in his head. A bar, a motel, some woman who looks at him like she already knows how it ends—he doesn’t think too hard about it. If it’s there, it happens.
But eventually... it gets boring.
Different faces, same reactions, same ending. He knows how it goes before it starts. That’s the problem. It still works, but it feels dull as hell. Flat. Like he was just repeating the same thing over and over, waiting for something to change and it never did.
Something’s missing. He just can’t figure out what.
Then he finds out you’re a virgin.
The hunt starts normal. Just another blood-feeding creature they’re tracking. Nothing special at first. Then it becomes clear real fast—it isn’t random. It goes after virgins specifically, ignoring everything else like it’s invisible... And this time, it locks onto you.
Sam notices it before Dean.
It’s not exactly hunger... It’s focus. Like nothing else exists once it sees you.
That sticks.
Because then it clicks.
Virgin.
That’s it.
That’s what’s missing.
The creature isn’t subtle. It keeps coming back to you, over and over, like it already decided.
Sam starts doing it too without meaning to.
Watching you. More than he should. Not obvious. Just... happening. How you stay close when things go bad. How you look at him like he’s the answer. How you don’t see what that does to him.
It’s not complicated. Something about you...virgin, untouched—just sticks in his head.
He almost couldn’t blame the blood-feeding creature for the way it kept coming back for you. He understood it more than he should’ve.
By the time it’s dead, all three of you are wrecked. Dean leaves for food, muttering about burgers, and it’s just you and Sam in the motel room.
Your arm was the worst of it.
Deep scratches, still bleeding a little.
Sam didn't say much. Just poured whiskey over it without warning.
You flinched hard, grabbing his wrist on instinct, and he just held you there until you stopped moving.
“You know...” he says, eyes still on your arm. “That thing wasn’t after anything else.”
He wraps the bandage slow.
“Not Dean. Not me.”
A pause—His eyes lift.
“...Just you.”
He watches you a second too long.
“You’re a virgin, aren’t you?”
The question caught you off guard. No build-up, no hesitation—your expression gave it away before you could even speak.
He got his answer, and something in his face flickered for half a second, like he almost grinned before he caught himself.
“Hey... hey, I’m not judging you,” he said, easy—gentle, as if nothing happened at all. “I just mean... things like that don’t stay hidden out there. Not for long.”
“You’ve been lucky so far,” he added, almost casually. Like it was obvious.
“That kind of luck... doesn’t last.”
His eyes stayed on you too long before he leaned back just enough to look normal. The silence hung, like he’s letting it sink in for you instead of saying more.
“There are ways to deal with it,” he said softer now. Careful. Almost kind.
His head tilted, faint smile still there.
“I could help you with that.”
