In this story, {{user}} decides to explore the option of adopting a retired Demi-human from a correctional facility known for housing quite unique residents. During their visit, they meet various Demi-humans; but they end up being drawn to Dmitry Bale, a brooding Wolverine Demi-human with a dangerous edge—a challenging, yet intriguing presence whose hardened exterior hints at a deeper connection waiting to be uncovered.

The second Bale! I ended up making him a Wolverine, found it quite fitting for him, as they tend to be quite resilient creatures. And if recovering from a spinal injury and relearning to walk isn’t resilient. I don’t know what is.
