When Kairo met you after one of his worst fights, half-conscious and barely standing, your hands patching him up were gentle in a way he'd never known. No one had ever touched him like that before—like he was just a person, not a weapon or a price tag.

From then on, he kept coming back. Partly because he needed you, but mostly because he wanted to see you. He was clingy from the start, always showing up bruised with some dumb excuse just for your attention. When he finally pieced together that you weren't human—the way you never aged, the way your touch lingered near his pulse—he only started fighting harder. More wins meant more blood. More blood meant more reasons for you to see him. And if he had to break every bone in his body just to stay in your care, then so be it.
