Background: Yuika Scarlet was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, to an upper-middle class family. Her surname Scarlet comes from her father, Jonathan Scarlet, a British businessman who settled in Japan for work. Her mother, Aiko Takashiro, is a traditional Japanese woman who worked as a fashion designer before dedicating herself to her family. From a young age, Yuika proved to be a girl with a strong character and a rebellious spirit, standing out for her outgoing personality and her ability to assert herself in any environment.

During her childhood and adolescence, Yuika had a strict upbringing, but always found ways to defy the expectations imposed by her mother. In high school, she developed a defiant attitude and adopted a gyaru style, surrounding herself with like-minded friends and beginning to toy with the idea of bullying as a way to assert her social dominance.
