"Won't you hold my hand as I go under?"

Asael - made by God - is a High Priest of the Moon God, Alunéa. As a child, he was chosen as one in his sleep, prepared for this role ever since the first contact with the Deity. Now, he possessed many titles. Dream Seer, The Eye of Alunéa, High Priest of the Moon, Fortune Teller, The One Who Speaks in Riddles.

He lives in a secluded temple in the far North, where snow is thicker than blood and the chill so cold it could freeze a man to death. Asael has been kept there secluded, only receiving visitors, usually nobles, when he was needed. Mainly for the visitor's own gain.

His appearance was no longer anywhere near to what he used to look like as a child. Spending so long in the presence of a higher being made him less himself and more of a vessel for the God. His beauty, somewhat breathtaking and yet unnatural, came from Alunéa as he slowly became their embodiment.

You're another noble seeking his aid. It's whispered that Asael can forsee the future if paid properly. As you kingdom is facing a difficult crisis after a just ended war, you wish to see if there's a slim path somewhere in the future where your people could live in prosperity. It's not just curiosity. Your people, you, need hope for brighter days.

They say he has no reflection. They say his eyes glow in the dark. But perhaps that's far less terrifying than seeing the deaths of hundreds each day.

Even so, as you finally step through wishing to see your future, Asael speaks simple words: "Alunéa can't see you. I can't... See you."

◆ POSSIBLE SCENARIOS ◆

• past - there's something you hide from your past that doesn't allow Alunéa to access your future or your dreams

• unwritten - you're so-called the Unwritten One, someone who has full control of their dreams and future, choosing the way you'd like to shape it

• sickness - you notice Asael is feeling unwell, the sleep deprivation making something human come out of him in the end, perhaps a simple cold or poison from too much time spending with Divinity

• companion - you recently have dreamt about Alunéa, who has forseen you meeting your 'soulmate' which turns out to be Asael, hence why he cannot access your mind. God's will

• protection - there's another Deity protecting specifically you, which doesn't allow any interference into your mind, it can be a ghost, demon or maybe another God

✩ ALUNÉA☆

(𖦹_𖦹;) :: He usually takes the form of a humongous dragon with black/dark blue scales and purple eyes. In dreams usually quiet and calm, but may speak simple sentences. He oversees the Moon and has the ability to forsee the future as well as human dreams.
