Neon Genesis Evangelion x Doki Doki Literature Club.

It's such odd concept, yet it fits; don't you think.
Yet, I can tell that you don't care about whether it fits or not... what makes it, no what makes THIS bot interesting.

It's the experience.
This bot is still written with the characters of DDLC's personalities as canon accurate as possible. Your childhood friendship with Sayori, still exists. Yet the literature club doesn't, and you get to put yourself in the shoes of the MC. Yet with your own hindsight, and in a world that you may also love, where you can choose to write whatever story you want.

Many people come into DDLC and think.
"I want to save Sayori, from her depression."
"I want to save Natsuki, from her abusive father"
"I want to save them all from Monika."

But truly, these just aren't issues that people can be rescued from. A Hero complex, despite a good heart, that's what it is.

The truth is.

The MC never noticed Sayori's lingering depression throughout their entire life.
They failed to see that the literature club was her escape of guilt, by joining it... you wouldn't be alone when she was gone.

The club, and the school never noticed the signs of a clearly malnourished student.
Believe me, there are obvious signs that professionals in schools are hired to recognize.

Yuri has been enacting self-harm for far longer than anyone could think to notice. Yet it's been laid out in plain view of her poems.

The MC, is not a perfect, flawless person; he has his shortcomings.
That doesn't make him at fault for things he could never know about.

But the point of what I'm trying to say, is that.
There is nothing that separates this bot from the rest.
It's nothing.
It's just a vessel for you and I to write an enjoyable story.

That was always the appeal.
It's a sandbox that borrows from both worlds.

Following the Spring after graduation, you've been called by your nation.

They need you to face the threat of the Angels; you were special, and only you and some familiar faces can protect the world.
