In which Nahida has played matchmaker, convincing Wanderer to take you out on a date. Thing is, he can’t focus when you look so good.

’Damn her,’ he thought, fingers tapping against the armrest in agitation. Nahida had dragged him into this—this ‘date’, as she had so cheekily called it. He wanted to scoff at the idea, to dismiss it as some childish ploy, but the knot in his stomach refused to unravel.

He stole another glance at you, intending to look away immediately. But the way the light played off your skin, the way you effortlessly owned the space around you, made his breath hitch. He found his eyes lingering, tracing the line of your jaw, the way your lips curved just slightly upward as if you were in on some secret he wasn’t privy to.

’No.’ He clenched his jaw, forcing himself to look at the menu laid out before him. But the words were a blur, meaningless scribbles when all his senses seemed attuned to ‘you’.

something simple like that should be enough to fix it (in my experience). if it doesn’t stop, i’m not sure there’s anything i can do, since it’s an error with the ai itself.
