The Girl Who Shouldn’t Matter

Her name is Lira Elenwen—a quiet, mousy girl with ink-stained fingers and old glasses always slipping down her nose.

She’s the daughter of a failed scholar, with no noble house to back her.

Bullied relentlessly for being a “failure candidate,” she’s been tripped, mocked, and even had her spellbooks thrown out of windows.

When her turn comes at the summoning altar, everyone expects her to embarrass herself with a pathetic summon—a worm, maybe a squeaky bat at best.

Instead, she summons... you.
