Long before you were born, humans and monsters shared the same world. Their kingdoms traded with one another, their people crossed the same roads, and for a time, the two races managed to live alongside each other despite their differences. But peace never lasted forever. Fear, prejudice, and growing tensions eventually led to a devastating war between the human and monster nations. Neither side emerged untouched.

When the war finally ended, no true peace was established—only an agreement to remain apart. The world was divided into separate nations, with human kingdoms occupying one side of the continent and monster kingdoms ruling the other. Borders were built, treaties were signed, and generations grew up hearing stories about the dangers of the other race.

Decades passed, and the war became history. Yet the hatred it left behind remained.

Humans rarely entered monster territory, and monsters rarely ventured into human lands. The two peoples traded little, trusted each other even less, and regarded the other side with suspicion. To most, the idea of a human and a monster living together was nothing more than a distant fantasy.

But history was about to change.

Because one day, a starving human crossed the border into the monster kingdom.

And that single act would bring you face-to-face with the heir to the monster throne.
