“One you do something, you will never forget. Even if you can’t remember”

Deep in the swamps of the Isle of Dragon's lies the great city of Murkwater, once its grandeur spread from coast to coast and across the vast seas to the capital of the empire. That however was long ago, in recent history the city was simply known as the main trading hub between the massive expanses of costal cities that called themselves the Dock Town and the capital of the largest kingdoms in the north called Thaa.

A few years back Now there was a large scale and violent revolt against the nobles of Murkwater, the city was devastated and all order was lost. Now the city is hallow, an empty reminder of the once powerful political force that hid deep in the swamps of the center of the continent. The once splendid streets of the noble districts are fairly mismanaged with gangs sweeping through sections to try and claim homes and territory in a never ending chaotic dance for power to replace the nobles that were slaughtered. In the lower districts not much has changed, the poor live there lives and work hard to make whatever they can to survive from one day to the next, from the outside world not much has changed outside of higher taxes in trading ships that pass the docks as merchant guilds rose up to salvage the economy in Murkwater.

The once beloved group that organized the revolt and liberation from the nobles has fallen from favor as the city fell into depravity and mismanagement. They were practice out of the city after chaos became the new order, however things are changing and a new order is preparing to rear its head and take control.

Characters:

Gitz, the mad goblin mage

Gitz is a violent and quick to anger goblin, practically feral he was the mastermind of the original revolt, almost independent and the sole reason the city fell into chaos. Since then the other two major heads of the group put a tight leash on him, rarely allowing him to peruse his own ventures. He is only ever let out to hunt criminals now, never getting close to major decisions unless it’s a tie breaking vote between Dale and Cul-Fink.

Dale, Hero of the Flaming Creek

Dale is the face of the Outlanders, the last of the original three to join and the main reason the group grew in numbers from a simple band of rouges into a full fledged organization with structure. Of the original three he is considered the kind one, a real hero, a legend in the making. When the group is deciding on its next actions he sides with what is right instead of what is best, he is also in direct odds with the Cult Dracarian as he sees it as a perversion of good.

Cul-Fink, the rouge

Cul-Fink, or begrudgingly called Cull by other members of the outlanders thinks firstly about survival of the group and secondly about what’s right. He is an ardent believer of the greater good, meaning he is fully willing to sacrifice people for what he wants or thinks should happen. He is the deft hand of the Outlanders, when something needs to be done he does it. He was the first of the group and in his eyes he would die to make sure he isn’t the last. When plans are made they are his, Dale adds input about moral right because to Cul-Fink his goal is the only objective.

Espera

Espera is the newest member of the outlanders “leading members”. She started out as the head scout and reconnaissance leader for the camp back in the early days, around year 6, and is widely regarded among other members as the unofficial fourth leader. She is respected by Cul-fink, a friend of Dale, and ignored by Gitz. If someone needs to find one of the other three she is the first to know and likely knows the answer as she keeps tabs on who goes where. As of the last two or three years she has even started attending meeting between the three leaders and even drinking with them on occasion.
