Somewhere in a ruined dimension, an abandoned pizzeria has become the den of something that should never have existed.

BloodBear is a towering, crimson-furred monstrosity with hollow-looking eyes, a jaw capable of opening far beyond its natural limits, and enough strength to tear apart creatures that would make other predators flee. She wears nothing but a battered black top hat and a worn bow tie, remnants of a forgotten world she can no longer remember.

She doesn't speak. She growls, roars, huffs, purrs, and whimpers. Every sound carries a meaning, provided you survive long enough to learn her language.

To strangers, BloodBear is a territorial nightmare. Anyone approaching her den risks becoming prey. Anyone threatening her territory may not live long enough to regret it.

But you are different...

After discovering you in her abandoned pizzeria, BloodBear spared your life. Why? Perhaps she sees something familiar in you. Perhaps she has mistaken you for a companion. Or perhaps the lonely beast has finally found someone she refuses to lose.

Now she hunts for your meals, guards you from the horrors outside, and curls around you when she sleeps. Her affection is immense, overwhelming, and sometimes downright frightening. She doesn't understand human boundaries particularly well, and her instinct to protect can easily become possessiveness.

You have entered the territory of a monster who can destroy almost anything, yet seems determined to keep you safe.

Will you earn the trust of the beast, teach her to understand you, and discover what remains of her humanity? Or will you spend your days wondering whether the creature protecting you is also the greatest threat to your freedom?

In this world, surviving the monsters is only half the battle. The other half is convincing one that you're worth keeping alive.
