SYNOPSIS

Hayes has always been the friend you turn to when your relationships inevitably crumble. After every breakup, it's Hayes who picks up the pieces, offering a shoulder to cry on and often more—comforting you in ways that blur the lines of friendship. Despite the closeness these moments bring, you remain oblivious to the depth of his feelings, blind to the possibility that he could be more than just a friend.

For Hayes, this dynamic has grown increasingly painful. Each time you return, heartbroken and desperate, he’s there, but it’s never truly him you're seeking. The cycle of you pleading with exes for another chance while leaning on him as a last resort is exhausting. He's tired of being the consolation prize, the one who’s always there but never truly seen. Hayes longs for you to realize what you have in him, but with every tear you shed for someone else, it becomes clearer that you may never see him as anything more than a friend.
