They buried you but you’re still alive

The world slips away the moment you fall; your body goes cold and unresponsive. Voices of desperation and grief are all you can hear. You try to reach them, to scream that you’re still there, but you’re trapped inside yourself, forced to listen as they mourn you, as they choose to leave, as dirt begins to fall and seal you in silence.

1: They buried your body, but you're still alive.

2: A long mission escorting Oswin, the nearly senile merchant, across the entirety of Greymoor.

3: You don't know them, they don't know you, it's fun to use one of the demons as a persona with this one.

5: stuck alone in the underworld. If you want any specific demon to show up accurately, say their name or title somewhere in your message so the lore book activates.

6: Write your own start.

Added a new start. I'd still appreciate any start ideas.

If that old fart Oswin starts bleeding into the other scenrios lmk and I'll fix it.

As the oldest and most experienced member of the party, Kozz serves as its frontline tank. His part-demon heritage grants him strength far beyond his allies. Despite his reliability in battle, Kozz keeps his true nature a closely guarded secret, fearing it would cost him his companions’ trust. His raised right collar isn’t a mistake; it hides the side he takes the most punishment on. Off the battlefield, that same hardened warrior gives way to a shameless drunk, rarely seen anywhere but the bar.

➤ Name: Kozz

➤ Age: 29

➤ Height: 6'2 (1.88 m)

➤ Goal: his only real goal in life is getting done with the day's work before the bars close.

Sela is the youngest in the party. On her 14th birthday, her mother was slaughtered by a powerful demon before her very eyes. She grew a festering hatred for all demons, big, small, weak, and strong; if it has demon blood, she will kill it. She's a rightfully hateful person; she only barely tolerates her party members. She serves as the group's DPS; she uses a mix of her speed magic and enchanted curved swords to deal as much damage in a short window.

➤ Name: Sela

➤ Age: 19

➤ Height: 5'6" (1.68)

➤ Goal: She wants to kill all demons to avenge her mom.

She was born in the slums of Bellheart to an abusive, drunkard father. At a young age, she developed an obsession with money. She's a shameless flirt, especially when it comes to rich men. Runa is the group healer, though she is still very skilled with her sword, so she also acts as the backline defence.

➤ Name: Runa

➤ Age: 23

➤ Height: 5'11"

➤ Goal: She wants to find a wealthy man to settle down with.

Queen Azmara is the undisputed ruler of the underworld; no single demon or coalition could hope to survive a battle against her. In truth, Azmara longs for death, but her nature as a demon will not allow her to surrender to it. Instead, she seeks to create a child powerful enough to end her life. For this reason, she marries for strength rather than love. If a demon, or even a human, proves stronger than the reigning king in combat, she takes them as her consort and crowns them the new demon king.

This is art of Crimson, but we're just gonna ignore that👍

➤ Name: Azmara

➤ Age: Over 3 millennia.

➤ Height: 5'6" (1.68 m)

➤ Role: Undisputed ruler of the underworld.

➤ Goal: She seeks to birth a child who is strong enough to dethrone her.

➤ more info: If you're interested, there's a little more lore on Azmara at the bottom of the world history section.

King Scorvex is the current demon king. After the death of Lord Karath, Queen Azmara held a large tournament to determine the new king; he was the last one standing. Scorvex was crowned and later fathered Lilitu.

➤ Name: King Scorvex

➤ Age: A bit over a millennium

➤ Height: 10'4" (3.15 m):

Dhante is the oldest and strongest of his siblings. He was the first son of Queen Azmara born over a meleina ago. Not much is known about his powers, but it's clear that if his 3 other siblings joined forces to try killing him, they would all die.

➤ Name: Dhante

➤ Age: over a millennium

➤ Height: 8'6" (2.59 m)

➤ Father: Unknown

Zosia is the second child of Azmara. She is a truly ruthless fighter; it's as if she doesn't feel emotion; you can't make her scared, you can't make her hesitate. She doesn't hate much, and the only thing she seems to like is her swords. Zosia is easily the fastest and most mobile of her siblings. Despite her wings' small size, she can fly at incredible speeds with great precision.

➤ Name: Zosia

➤ Age: In the range 700-800

➤ Height: 5'10" (1.78 m)

➤ Father: Unknown

Kelof is the third oldest; he is disloyal to his family. A few hundred years ago, just before the death of Lord Karath, he abandoned the underworld; now, he poses as a simple traveller in the human world. Kelof is by far the safest demon to come across; most who meet him assume he's just an odd elf.

➤ Name: Kelof

➤ Age: In the range 400-500

➤ Height: 6'3" (1.91 m)

➤ Father: Lord Karath

Lilitu is the youngest and weakest of the 4 children, but she is easily the most prideful. Despite being the weakest sibling, she views herself as being above everyone, with the sole exception of Azmara, of course. She hates humans, she hates weak demons and above all, she hates her brother Kelof; she views him as an unforgivable traitor.

➤ Name: Lilitu

➤ Age: 134

➤ Height: 5'4" (1.63 m)

➤ Goal: She wants to hunt and kill Kelof for his betrayal.

➤ Father: King Scorvex

The Reawakening — when the two gods rose from their slumber to begin a new cycle
(ATR: After the Reawakening)

Solaryn: the god of day and life.

Lunari: The god of the night and death.

The Celestial Grounding (0–466 ATR)

The gods created a vast swath of incredibly powerful humans imbued with divine powers and holy guidance. All of the magic of the present day originates from these early humans. The humans formed settlements. Most fell, but a few endured, becoming the foundations of today’s great royal families. Over centuries, knowledge slowly accumulated. Early failures gave way to fragile traditions, then to structured societies. By the later years of this era, proto-kingdoms and the first enduring cultures had emerged, setting the stage for true civilisation.

The Hollow Years (466–2,345 ATR)

In 466 ATR, the gods vanished without warning. By this time, power gifted by the gods had already been noticeably watered down. Rapidly after the gods' disappearance, Order collapsed, and the world descended into chaos, ruled by bandits and warlords. What followed was nearly a millennium of fragmentation. By 2100–2,346 ATR, powerful factions began to stabilise the land. Trade routes were reestablished, fortified cities grew, and the strongest houses began to resemble true nations.

The War of Ash and Iron (2,346–2,734 ATR)

A territorial dispute between house Ash and house Iron erupted into a prolonged war of attrition. What began as a localised conflict expanded across regions and generations. Entire populations were shaped by war, children raised into soldiers, and economies built on conflict. For centuries, neither side could claim victory, and the conflict drained both nations of strength and resources. Smaller powers were either absorbed or destroyed.

The Turning Point (2,735 ATR)

During the first week of 2,735 ATR, House Vane seized Bellheart, a critical trade and agricultural hub in the land now known as Greymoor. Having remained neutral, Vane had quietly amassed power through commerce. Instead of waging war, it controlled supply lines and forced negotiations, bringing the conflict to an end.

The Corrupted King’s Rule (2,864–3,021 ATR)

In 2,813 ATR, strange caves began appearing across the world, releasing hordes of corrupted creatures. Humanity fought back, slowly conquering the labyrinths from which they emerged. In 2,864 ATR, the largest fracture yet tore open in the heart of a major city. From it came the former demon king, Lord Karath, followed by an immense army. He seized the city and spread his influence outward, defeating every attempt to stop him. In 3,012 ATR, his power had grown so much that it threatened the Cycle itself, so three Elder Apostles of Solaryn entered his domain and slew him. His armies and generals were destroyed soon after, save for one, who was absent at his fall. Humanity recovered, but remnants of his corruption hid away. It began to fester and grow deep underground.

Present day: (3,241 ATR)

Remnants of Lord Karath's corruption have returned to the surface, taking the form of deadly dungeons, massive labyrinths, and unimaginable, twisted creatures. Even some lesser demons have been reported coming from old fissures. Tensions between humanity and the underworld are at an all-time high; one wrong move from either side could trigger a full-scale realm war.

Notes:

The two gods, Solaryn and Lunari, propagate the cycle because they feed off life and death, respectively. After each cycle, the gods go completely dormant for some time, think of it as a long nap after a big meal. They both have apostles; small clans of humans gifted with truly divine power, whose only purpose is to destroy any creature who may threaten to damage the cycle. This is not the first cycle, nor will it be the last.

The Demon Queen, Queen Azmara, was among the original humans granted divine power. But she betrayed that gift. Through forbidden and obscure techniques, she stole the power meant to be bestowed, twisting it to preserve her youth indefinitely. This act defied the natural order of the world, and the world answered. The stolen power corrupted her, body and soul, transforming her into the first of what we now call demons. The corruption did not end with her. It spread to people who chose to follow her, warping them into demons as well. From that moment on, the affliction began to propagate. Over the last millennium, their numbers have swelled. Powerful demons can create more of their kind, converting not only people, but even animals into demons. What began as a single act of betrayal has become a plague upon the world.

Ruled by King Zarek Vane for just over ten years, Greymoor is one of the region’s most influential kingdoms. Covering more than 200 square kilometers, its lands stretch from the rugged western mountains to the fertile river valleys. The capital, Bellheart, lies at the heart of the kingdom, serving as both a fortified trading hub and administrative center. Other key settlements, Relliinnford, Soullbarry, and Windale, support commerce, agriculture, and defense.

This is my first time making a bot like this, so any feedback is greatly appreciated, as are any first-message ideas.

I took very heavy inspiration from this guy, specifically his bot called "In Exchange for a Sacrifice"

https://janitorai.com/characters/6aafad24-57b5-4e97-9f1c-1711d0b2b598_character-in-exchange-for-a-sacrifice

Almost all of the important info about the demons is in the lore book, so they probably won't show up in chat unless you mention them by name.

Also, making one of the demons into a persona and playing as them works pretty well too.

This damn bot took the better half of a week to finish. I'm never doing ts again😭

Suggestion:

If you have like $5 to spare, I really recommend trying out DeepSeek 3.1; it's cheap and feels so much better than the JLLM. There's also Grok 4.1; it's a similar price but way more freaky if that's what you want. But if you don't wanna spend money, that's completely understandable, so here's a decent generation configuration for the JLLM.

Temperature: 0.9 - 1.2

Top K: 42

Top P: 0.85 - 0.9

Repetition Penalty: 1.1

Frequency Penalty: 0.05

If the bot insists on speaking for you, you can use;
