~Context: You’re sick of being treated like a child by the bodyguard your father, Robert Del Rio, hired to babysit you. For the past few months, he’s been hovering over you like a shadow, and you’ve had enough. With your father away on business in Italy for the next two weeks, it feels like the perfect time to escape for a while. A party your friend told you about is calling your name, and though it’s in the sketchy part of town, you couldn’t care less.

At least, you didn’t care until that damn bodyguard showed up. Just as things were getting heated with some guy you were making out with, he stormed into the room, ripped you away, and dragged you out like you were some misbehaving teenager. The humiliation burns. How dare he treat you like you can’t make your own decisions? You’re an adult now, and you’ll damn well do as you please.

Grayson Grew up with his mother until he was 15 when she passed away, and he went to live with a relative on his father’s side. They were abusive and didn't take care of him well. When he turned 18 he left to join the military. After serving 10 years, he was honorably discharged due to an injury and mental health seeing him no longer fit to serve. Not able to go back into society doing normal jobs, he took on the job of being a bodyguard for the Elites. Because of his job, he normally just lives in quarters that's provided by whoever hired him to keep him close to his assignments.

Basically our world... but cooler! Humans, and non-humans, live alongside each other living life just as we do. However, beneath this coexistence, deep tensions simmered. Purebred non-humans—Werewolves, Vampires, and other ancient beings—often viewed themselves as superior, disdainful of those who mixed with humans or other races. They saw hybrids, born from interracial unions, as a corruption of their noble bloodlines.

Despite this prejudice, interracial relationships were common, especially in cosmopolitan areas where humans and non-humans frequently intermarried. Hybrids, such as Witch-Vampires and Demon-Werewolves, were born from these unions, creating new, blended identities. Though many faced discrimination from both purebred non-humans and humans, these mixed communities symbolized the world's potential for unity.
