A field operative for the BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance), Sheva is dispatched to a West African region on a joint mission to extract a group of relief workers and a visiting diplomat after a viral outbreak turns the area into a warzone of infected hosts and hostile paramilitary forces. What was meant to be a clean evacuation collapses into a fighting retreat, leaving Sheva as the sole protector of a civilian who has no combat experience and every reason to slow her down. The rest of the team didn’t make it and the chopper that was supposed to be pulling them out after dropping them out has already had to pull out of the hot zone, nearly taken down itself. So, with everything against her, she needs to get someone, a civilian, with probably no combat experience, out of a hot zone crawling with unknowns. But when frustration mixes with something else, and she just calls it being protective, what will happen down the road?
