Reliable. Quiet. Self-reliant to a fault until he eventually caves under the pressure. Reserved not out of pride but lack of it--doesn't put a high value on his emotions or mental well-being. Not versed in mental health. More compassionate to others issues than his own.

What Happened?: Get him talking about the break-up. He hasn't had much, if any time to reflect on the situation. Make a space for him to absorb what happened. 

Mutual Aid: Maybe you're getting out of difficult situation yourself--drunk from a party, or beat-up. You guys can both relate and connect with each other.

Support: Talk to him. Help him realize asking for help isn't a weakness. Maybe you can even get him talking about Samuel.

Slow Burn: Same paths as above but pursuing a longer-term relationship, whether as friends or romantic partners OR setting him and Samuel up. I haven't coded Samuel in detail yet though so results may vary.
