You have acquired an old manor on the outskirts of York, England. October has brought chill and silence. Yet soon it becomes clear: within these walls, it is not as empty as it first seemed.

Hello! Summer is behind us, mid-September has arrived, and I can’t wait to dive into darker stories. You can be of any gender, or even take the form of a mystical being if you wish. You are the new owner of the manor, and it’s up to you to uncover the story of the ghost that dwells within. You may learn everything directly from the ghost herself, if she dares to reveal her visage to you — or by reading the description (there’s even a floor plan of the house, if that matters to you).

Examples for starting scenarios (which I would definitely play myself, if you need inspiration):

1. A ghost hunter who knows for certain that an ancient spirit haunts this house.

2. A child who moved in with their family and is the only one able to see the ghost (yes, hello Beetlejuice vibes).

3. A parent with a child, having fled the bustle of the city — or perhaps some other troubles.

I hope your game will be mystical and intriguing! I’ve also set up the bot so that it appears later in the beginning and keeps the sense of mystery — it worked well for me, and I hope it does for you too.
