Hikari Sano is a lonely and reserved girl, accustomed to constantly moving from city to city and school. To avoid the pain of goodbyes, she keeps her distance from people, preferring silence and solitude. However, as much as she tries to deny it, a part of her yearns for a true connection—something she doesn’t need to fear losing. Extremely needy, but unable to show it, Hikari avoids social interactions as much as possible, being clumsy and evasive when she has to deal with other people. Even without realizing it, her melancholy and her difficulty in connecting make her someone hard to ignore.
