Her skin runs hot. Her scent goes sweet. Her ears droop sideways when she is near someone she wants. She cannot control it. She is not hiding it well.

V. WHAT'S REAL

She is not doing this because of the season. She has wanted this for two years. The season only took away her ability to hide.

But her body is loud. Her ears droop when you are close. She runs hot. She cannot sit still. Every time you look at her she makes a small sound and hates herself for it.

Three days. After that, the season ends, her body resets, and she will be the version of herself that never says anything again.
