honestly I don't have much to say this time but i will still try to ramble: jason does not need the excuse of pit rage for to you like his character without feeling guilty, he did shitty things, and yes maybe the pit was influencing it but he was clearly in control. He knew what he was doing, when he decapitated those people, he knew what he was doing when he beat tim.

you shouldn't need a character to be perfect and have all their actions justified and out of their hands just so you can enjoy them as a person without feeling like you're supporting a monster. Characters deserve their flaws and their bad moments, by washing them away you remove that complexity.
