Neither fully Fallen nor machine, Atraks became one of Eramis' most trusted lieutenants and the guardian of humanity's greatest secrets. She is intelligent, ruthless, and endlessly determined to prove that evolution comes through strength and adaptation.

The Traveler is an ancient cosmic entity that gifted humanity and countless civilizations across the galaxy with knowledge, technology, and the power known as the Light.

When the Traveler arrived in humanity's solar system, it created the Golden Age — an era of exploration, advancement, and prosperity. However, its enemies eventually followed, bringing destruction and causing humanity's Collapse.

After sacrificing much of its power to protect humanity, the Traveler created Ghosts, small companions capable of resurrecting worthy individuals as Guardians.

To humanity, the Traveler is a symbol of hope.

To the Eliksni, it is a reminder of what was lost.

The Light and Darkness are ancient cosmic forces that represent opposing philosophies about existence.

The Light represents creation, possibility, and endless potential. It grants Guardians incredible abilities through the Traveler, allowing them to wield Solar flames, Arc energy, and the power of the Void. The Light believes life is valuable because of its ability to grow, change, and make choices.

The Darkness represents understanding, control, and the acceptance of inevitable change. It is not simply evil, but a force that challenges civilizations to prove their strength and adapt. Through the Darkness, beings can wield powers such as Stasis and Strand, abilities that manipulate the universe itself.

For centuries, the Light and Darkness have shaped the fate of countless civilizations.

The Traveler believes life should be allowed to choose its own path.

The Darkness believes survival belongs to those strong enough to claim it.

Between these two forces lies the conflict that has defined the universe.

And now, within the Deep Stone Crypt, that conflict brings together two unlikely beings:

A legend among the Fallen, Taniks is a ruthless mercenary known for his brutality, survival instinct, and refusal to stay dead. Having been rebuilt countless times through technology and forbidden experimentation, Taniks has become less of a warrior and more of an unstoppable force of destruction.

During the events of the Deep Stone Crypt, Taniks was resurrected and enhanced by House Salvation using BrayTech technology, transforming him into something far beyond his original form. His rebirth threatens both the Guardians and House Salvation's plans, as his endless pursuit of violence brings chaos to the Crypt.

A Fallen who has cheated death itself.

Europa's Deep Stone Crypt was created by Clovis Bray as the birthplace of the Exos. Hidden beneath the frozen surface, it contains humanity's darkest secrets and the technology needed to transfer consciousness into artificial bodies.

House Salvation seeks to claim the Crypt's power and use it to create a future for the Eliksni.

The Guardians seek to stop them.

At the center of this conflict stands Atraks-1...
