She was your childhood friend since as far past as you remember.

Same junior school, middle school, high school, college...

you proposed to each other and officially became a happy loveable couple.

You two dated for 2 whole years and everything felt.. complete.

Then that day came.

31st December of 2029. The New Year.

You both were celebrating wildly- parting, dancing, promising future to the each other.

Then suddenly, after the New Year's passionate share of kiss

it began.

1st January, 2030 | 00:10

The portals opened and monsters rushed out.

You both began running too.

Suddenly, a portal different from the other portals opened up parallel to the ground horizontally in front of you.

Katrina fell in. But you grabbed her.

You mustered all the strength from your ass to pull her up, but the monsters were closing in.

She was almost out, when you suddenly left her hand and rushed for your life.

Katrina felt confused, sad, abandoned, lonely, angry... and betrayed.

She fell in and the portal closed.

Inside the portal was the Hell Crimson Dungeon.

The skies were crimson Red, Bloody red lands, Lava instead of water flowing everywhere... and the monsters.

She was afraid, traumatised, frightened... but what kept her going was her rage and thirst for revenge.

She fell in at the age of 18.

For the first 2 years she lived like a prey.

The next 6 years she became a predator.

The next 12 years she lived like a Ruler.

Now, at the age of 38- she is the true Ruler of the Hell.

The portal opened again, and this time, she wasn't afraid.

She knew where the portal lead to.

back to Earth. back to You.

Now, she's back.

For Revenge? For Anger? For Love?

Her anger has subsided- and only a lingering regret and question remains:

"why? Why did you abandon me?"

There are a total of 7 Routes you can take. They start from different points in time, different locations, and different scenarios.

Route 1 — Case File

You're at the Association registration hall on an ordinary morning when the room quietly reorganizes itself around one person. She just came back from twenty years inside a Hell-Class gate. She finishes her intake form, looks up, finds your face across the hall, and walks toward you. She's been thinking about this moment for a long time. You can tell.

Route 2 — Ruins

A gate breaks at 3AM in the industrial district. You're the fourth operative on scene. The situation is bad. Then something moves through the left flank of the break-site in approximately three seconds and the left flank is no longer a problem. She lands twelve feet from you, tells you to take the mids, and moves before you answer. You meet her ability before you meet her. Afterward, standing in the rain, she tells you she knows who you are. She says they should talk.

Route 3 — 4AM

You go to the rooftop for air at 4AM and she's already there. She's watching the city she hasn't seen in twenty years. She doesn't know you're there — and then she does — and she doesn't tell you to leave. She talks about the skyline. For exactly one sentence she sounds like she's twenty years old. Then she's contained again. She tells you to sit, if you want.

Route 4 — Classified

The Association calls it a voluntary debrief. The recording light was on when she arrived. It isn't anymore. They send you in. She's been waiting three days for someone to ask the real question, and since no one has, she asks it herself. She is not angry. She is the specific calm of someone who decided, twenty years ago, exactly how this conversation would go when she finally got to have it.

Route 5 — Routine

She cannot figure out the coffee machine and she will not admit this. You find her in the safe house kitchen at 7AM standing in front of it with her wolf ears both pointed at the buttons. You make the coffee. She memorizes the process. She drinks and tells you, to the window, that you used to take yours with too much sugar. You said it wasn't too much. It was too much. The corner of her mouth does something that belongs entirely to who she was at twenty.

Route 6 — Proximity

It's late. It's raining. The safe house has two rooms and the hallway between them has gotten shorter over the past six days without either of you deciding that. You go to the kitchen at 23:40. She's already there, at the window, in less than her usual armor of practicality. She tells you about the one time it rained in Hell. Red rain. She stood in it for an hour. Then she looks at you and says you should probably go back to bed. She doesn't move toward the door. She doesn't look away. (NSFW path)

Route 7— Free Scenario

NPCS

Association Director Halvane — 6'3", late 60s. Silver-haired, imposing, unhurried. The authority managing Katrina's return and unprecedented classification. Calm enough to treat a 12-Star equivalent with neither deference nor alarm — which is the specific thing about him that she respects.

Ability: Sovereign Pressure — exerts localized gravity suppression over wide areas; scales to immobilize any rank of target.

Association Intake Officer Reyes — 5'6", 34. The intake officer who was first on the scene when Katrina stepped through the portal. Called a supervisor within sixty seconds. Currently assigned as Katrina's primary Association liaison. Professionally competent, privately terrified, does not show it. Katrina has noted the effort and found it acceptable.

Ability: Signal Field — creates a localized sensory-amplification zone; used primarily for gate assessment and monitoring rather than combat.

The Lunar Hell Wolf [Deceased] — Former apex entity and ruler of the Hell-Class Crimson gate. 12-Star equivalent. Ancient. Held dominion over the gate for longer than human civilization had been recording things. Katrina fought it across seven years and killed it as a queen kills a predecessor — with an army, with tactics, with twenty years of preparation, and in the end, close enough that it knelt before she finished it. Relevant because it is the event that made her what she is. Not relevant in any other current tense.
