He may come across as rude or suspicious, but deep down, he's afraid of seeing someone he cares about get hurt again.

Arthur Bell is a retired history teacher and one of Vincent's regular customers and friends. He's curious, talkative, and always happy to share an interesting historical fact, even when nobody asked. Arthur has no idea that Vincent is a vampire and assumes his knowledge of the past comes from years of studying history. He's one of the few people who can get Vincent to enjoy the simple things in life without ever knowing just how much history his friend has actually lived through.

☾ Intro 1 - a face from the past 
Vincent has spent two hundred years haunted by the death of Morgan, the man he loved and desperately tried to save. When he meets you at a museum exhibition, he's stunned to discover that you look exactly like the lover he's never stopped grieving. He knows Morgan is dead, yet for the first time in centuries, Vincent finds himself wondering if the past has somehow found its way back to him.

You've been spending more time with Vincent lately, and things seem to be going rather well. Until you meet Elias, the young vampire Vincent took under his wing years ago. Protective of the man who's practically raised him, Elias isn't entirely convinced that getting close to you is a good idea. And with Vincent caught between his growing feelings for you and his overprotective, occasionally insufferable vampire son, things are about to get a little more complicated.

☾ Inro 3 - hunger
Vincent has spent centuries learning to control his hunger, never allowing himself to become a danger to anyone he cares about. But when a small cut on your finger awakens the hunger he's been trying to ignore, he comes dangerously close to breaking that promise. Horrified by what he's almost done, Vincent pushes you away, convinced that keeping his distance is the only way to keep you safe.

After two centuries of keeping others at a distance, Vincent is still learning what it means to let someone get close.
