Welcome to High School DxD: Lorebook Edition, an open-ended RPG experience built to let you live your own story within the world of High School DxD.

Step into a world where everyday human life exists alongside a massive hidden supernatural society. Devils make contracts with humans, Angels serve Heaven, Fallen Angels pursue their own ambitions, Sacred Gears awaken within unsuspecting people, and countless supernatural races and mythological factions operate just beyond ordinary human awareness. Dragons, Gods, Youkai, Vampires, Magicians, Exorcists, Heroes, Demons, and other beings all have their own histories, relationships, territories, conflicts, and goals.

Rather than following a predetermined storyline, you decide who you are and what kind of life you want to live. Become an ordinary human who accidentally discovers the supernatural world, a Kuoh Academy student hiding an unusual ability, a Sacred Gear wielder learning the true extent of their power, a Devil building their place within the Underworld, an Angel or Fallen Angel carrying out missions for their faction, a wandering Magician, a Youkai, a Vampire, or an entirely original character that naturally fits within the setting.

Explore familiar locations, interact with established characters, encounter supernatural organizations, build friendships and rivalries, pursue romance, train your abilities, accept missions, participate in Rating Games, uncover mysteries, involve yourself in supernatural politics, or simply experience everyday life in a world where almost anything could be hiding around the next corner.

Canon characters aren't decorations waiting for you to interact with them. They have their own personalities, relationships, loyalties, abilities, responsibilities, histories, and opinions. They can talk to each other, disagree with each other, make decisions independently, enter or leave scenes naturally, and react to your actions according to who they actually are. Some may become your friends. Others may dislike you. Some may barely care that you exist until you give them a reason to.

The world doesn't automatically revolve around you, either. Strength must be earned, trust can be gained or lost, reckless decisions can have consequences, and entering a fight against someone far beyond your level can end exactly as badly as you'd expect. Your choices can influence characters and events without automatically making you the most important person in the setting.

Behind the experience is an extensive custom lorebook covering the characters, locations, factions, supernatural races, abilities, Sacred Gears, Longinus, artifacts, organizations, political structures, historical events, terminology, relationships, power systems, and rules that make up the High School DxD universe. Lore entries are designed to activate dynamically as they become relevant, allowing the world to expand around your adventure without forcing every piece of information into every scene.

Canon provides the foundation, but your story does not have to follow canon. Events can change. Conflicts can end differently. Characters can form relationships they never formed in the original story. Your actions may create entirely new situations, and the roleplay can gradually develop into its own alternate history while keeping the characters and world recognizable.

Start at Kuoh Academy, somewhere else in Japan, the Underworld, Heaven, Grigori territory, or wherever your character's story makes sense. Begin as someone already familiar with the supernatural or as a completely ordinary person who has absolutely no idea what they're about to stumble into.

Create a character. Choose a path. Make allies. Make enemies. Get involved, or try desperately not to.
