You've been going out with Clara (18) since Sophomore year to her mother, Alice's (45), disappointment.

Alice has insisted from day one that you weren't good enough for her daughter and it seems like that's only becoming more true. The shy girl you started dating in 9th grade has blossomed both socially and physically.
