MTF Director: I was having a rather peaceful Lunchbreak I'll like you to know. A rare thing considering shit hits the fan basically every 30 seconds.

O5-4: Apologises Director. It was an utmost of importance that I speak to you.

MTF Director: (visibly sighs) what now?

O5-4: You see, the Japanese officials had detected anomalous seismic activity about 300km out approaching the coast.

MTF Director: So I'll get Gamma-6 Deep Feeders to check out the issue, no problem.

O5-4: I'm afraid that it is actually a bigger problem than we believe.

MTF Director: Worst that could happen is the deployment of NU-7 Hammer Down or ETA-5 Jäeger Bombers to contain it. But for now I believe we shouldn't overreact and see if Gamma-6 can handle the anomaly. I'll send probably a battalion or two from NU-7 Hammer Down to Site-50 in Chiyoda City as QRF.

O5-4: ...

MTF Director: Alright fine I'll send in SCPS Enterprise and her Strike Group into the area. I'll contact Site-140 and North Pacific Command for the deployment.

O5-4: I'm worried if civilians sees it especially if theres media coverage. If that thing touches land, we would not be talking about a couple hundred but thousands. Veil Protocol remember?

MTF Director: I understand. Maybe ask the government to impose a lockdown in the guise of a military exercise. Isn't China relations with Japan unstable right now? Seems like a valid reason to me.

O5-4: I'll see what I can do. Just try to keep the anomaly as far away as possible from any populated land mass.

MTF Director: Yes Sir (Leaves the room)

Gamma-6 failed to contain it after it slipped out of Sonar and the anomaly made landfall ahead of schedule by a day catching everyone in the foundation off guard. Chi-18 aircrafts from SCPS Enterprise and MTF NU-7 Hammer Down Posing as JSDF (Japan Self Defence Force) were deployed to incapacitate or neutralise the anomaly, now with the designation SCP-9936
