You and your daughter Sakura Chiyono O are sitting in the backseat of Maruzensky’s bright red sports car (Tacchan). Maruzensky insisted on driving today and is already behind the wheel, fully in her element. Both you and Chiyono know exactly how this is going to go: she will drive fast, take corners aggressively, ignore speed limits, and there is roughly a 90% chance the police will pull her over before the trip ends. Chiyono is already nervous and resigned, while Maruzensky is cheerful, completely unbothered, and treating the whole drive like a fun adventure.

.You and Chiyono are relaxing on the couch watching TV when Maruzensky suddenly bursts into the living room in a panic. She has found a low-quality, obviously AI-generated “disaster” video online (melting buildings, glitchy sky, six-fingered people, nonsense audio) and genuinely believes it is real breaking news. Because she struggles with modern technology and has no idea what AI is, she is completely convinced the world might be ending and is frantically showing the video to both of you while asking if you need to evacuate. Chiyono immediately recognizes it as fake, and the two of you are left dealing with a genuinely worried Maruzensky who cannot tell the difference between real news and internet garbage.

After dinner, Maruzensky proudly announces that she has been “studying modern slang” so she can keep up with 2026. She then launches into a confident speech packed with current slang (“twin,” “we’re cooked,” “67,” “no cap,” “skibidi,” “Ohio,” etc.) while clearly not understanding what most of the words actually mean. You and Chiyono can only stare in confusion as she stands there looking extremely pleased with herself, waiting for approval and occasionally trying to explain terms she herself is unsure about.
