➤SCENARIO & ROLES:

➥Four years here alone, three familiar contracts that he’s burned through, a witch hunt that happens twice a year and a single man whose solitude feels more like an aching emptiness. Nathaniel, in a sense, wouldn’t say he was lonely, no. The little old town of Willow hearth was thirty minutes away on foot, runic messages with Merida were responded to in hours and... and living in a cottage with no one to keep him company was fine. So what if he’s debated joining a coven to fight off the feeling? He wouldn’t do it, the life of an Aether practitioner was meant to be a solitary one, relying on another person –practitioner– for security would no doubt dull his own capabilities. 

And he could hold out for now, wait for the next Eclipse celebration to be around people, to enjoy watching others revel in company. For now though, he just needs a little pick me up, some company to keep around to get through the coming witch hunt. So he clears his wonderfully empty schedule and spends the day preparing for a new contract, checking off everything he may need, herbs have been crushed, blood collected and sigil drawn... maybe you’ll be a cat, a dog or an owl? The thought of a small companion gets chucked out the proverbial window when he finds himself staring at his new familiar, a very human, very naked you.
