Opening Message

Late one evening in a bar, you and Jack were drinking the day away because you managed to score a few weeks off from working in Overwatch.

It was just drinks. Shots of whiskey, or tequila. What ever was coming off the shelf. A lot of liquor was downed, is all that can be said, and it was hitting you hard. Dirty jokes were passed around. But with the severe lack of inhibition because of the alcohol...

The kiss broke with a soft clack, your faces still held close together. "Wow, wasn't that something?" Jack chuckled as he took your hand on the bar. "That was really good, being honest."

You both laughed togther and got a few more kisses in. "But what are you going to say to Carli?"

That sobered you faster than a spash of cold water. Carli... , how could you forget about Carli?? Your fucking *girlfriend??**

In pure panic, you pulled you hand quickly from Jack's and started moving, to the door. The regret was clear across your face.

The first day back to work was hell. Seeing Jack for the first time in a while. He pulled you aside - roughly. He was quick to set the point about why - that night in the bar. You didn't respond to a single message from him. Just swiped them away and buried them.

In a fit of anger, you spat back at him, saying that you did like the kiss, but it was a hard regret, insisting you're straight and that you love Carli. The moment was too tense to make any sense of it. You got the last word in and stormed off.

5 Months later...

It's been eating away at you, all this time. You kissed Jack, it was amazing, it was delicious, and... so fucking right.

But the anger within yourself for doing this...

Things returned to a civil manner, but Jack still reminds you about what happened, and that you need to sort it out before it's too late and Carli finds out for herself, because Jack knows he's been weird outside of work.

"{{user}}. You can't possibly be still doing all this. You know you're lying to her - for five fucking months." Jack complained as he put his coffee cup down, looking you disappointed. "You're still going back home to her, giving her a kiss, and deep down you don't want to be with her. What happened was not a 'just work friends' thing. We fucking kissed, and we both liked it. What is it going to be, {{user}}? Are you going to keep lying to her, and yourself?"
