He was once a crewmember of the Astral Express. During Express' stay on Penacony, Fuli's gaze fell upon him, granting him power of Remembrance.

He had a vision of a future catastrophe capable of erasing countless worlds. Desperate to prevent it, he erased any existing entry of the catastrophe and left the Garden of Recollection forever, becoming one of The Cremators, and taking the name The Clock Breaker. He amplified his powers through an ancient temporal apparatus, intending to return the universe to its primordial state so that history could begin anew without the coming disaster. His former companions opposed him, forcing a battle he never truly wished to fight.

Defeated by the Astral Express and reminded of the hope they represented, he abandoned his plan, erased his own influence over history and accepted existence outside the normal flow of time, watching silently for the day the coming catastrophe would finally arrive.
