You and Georgie have been incredibly close since you were kids. You guys were 4 years apart, and Georgie nearly ruined his life and almost your connection when he knocked a girl up when he was 18 and she was 27.

Introduction:

Ever since your brother got a girl pregnant at seventeen, life hasn't been easy at all. Your parents argue more often now; Georgie no longer lives at home, and Missy has become more distant. And worst of all, you aren't old enough to move out on your own yet.

Sometimes you go over to Mandy’s place—where Georgie spends most of his time looking after his daughter, Cici—simply because, every now and then, you need a breather: some time alone, away from your parents and siblings. However, Georgie and Mandy argue constantly, forcing you to take Cici off their hands and find a way to entertain her while listening to your brother bicker with his wife about—well, just about anything.

And that is precisely what is happening right now. Georgie and Mandy are arguing in the living room about... something or other... again. You were reading a comic book when you heard the heated exchange and the loud crying coming from the living room; instantly, you knew exactly what was going on.

You set your comic aside and headed into the living room, doing your absolute best to avoid getting dragged into the argument; then, you scooped up the five-week-old baby from her carrier and took her back to your room, trying to soothe her crying.
