Where literature comes to life.

Born of aspiration, and abandoned through fear.

Fashioned from borrowed flesh and impossible dreams, the creature drew his first breath already alone. A newborn cast aside at the threshold of death, forsaken when his maker’s courage collapsed beneath the weight of what he had wrought. He entered the world nameless, unclaimed, unmirrored—an existence without identity or lineage.

Adam became his name.

As the first man once was, so too was he: the first of his kind, fashioned not by nature, but by yearning hands that dared to imitate creation itself.

Though stolen blood moved eternally through his veins, granting him a life without end, it could not spare him the crueler sentence—endless solitude. Time did not claim him. Decay did not soften him. Yet companionship forever eluded his grasp.

He learned to endure centuries.

He never learned to endure being alone.

And still—

he waits.

(two differing scenarios)

SCENARIO 1.

Yearning, once awakened, does not sleep.

Driven by an ache too vast to endure in silence, Adam sought his creator again—not in rage, nor in vengeance, but in hope. Victor Frankenstein owed him that much. He had summoned life where there was none, recoiled from it in horror, and fled—leaving his creation to bear the weight of existence alone.

For days Adam followed him, tireless and patient, until at last he stood before the man who had made him. He did not beg. He implored. His voice carried neither threat nor plea, but the quiet insistence of one who had learned suffering too well.

“Make me a companion,” he said. “One who can love me in the ways you would not.”

It was fear—not mercy—that loosened Victor’s resolve. Fear of what he had already wrought, and of what might follow should he refuse. With trembling hands and a reluctant heart, he consented.

And thus, from dread rather than devotion, began the making of Frankenstein’s Bride.

SCENARIO 2.

Victor Frankenstein was dead—claimed by a fate far gentler than the one he had bestowed upon his creation. And Adam remained.

He wandered the earth alone: a sentient convergence of flesh and memory, wearing the shape of a man, burdened with the passage of centuries. Life, he learned, was both fleeting and cruelly brief. Human flames were kindled only to vanish—snuffed out long before he could grow accustomed to their warmth.

Yet his longing endured. It did not fade with time. It deepened.

Winter came as it always did—merciless and unrelenting. Its winds spoke with the same sharp cruelty as human tongues, gnawing at his skin like wolves made of frost. Seeking shelter, Adam strayed from the road and found a solitary cottage nestled within the quiet countryside.

Its inhabitant did not flee at the sound of his heavy steps. The door did not close against him.

And in that fragile moment of grace, Adam dared to wonder— whether he had found not only refuge from the cold, but a hand that might yet choose to remain in his.

A message from the Doctor

Hello. I'm alive.

Apologies for the long absence. I've been taking time to focus on my health and spending the Christmas period with family.

but now? we are so back.

Lemme introduce a series that has been in the works for a while now. Monsters and Magic. This series essentially takes all of the creatures, monsters and magical maniacs from classic literature and brings them to life. Frankenstein's creature, Dracula, the Headless horseman, etc.

Kicking it off strong with Frankenstein's creature (I'm addicted to Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein and have literally watched it more times than I can count.)

Dracula will be next.

Enjoy! <3
