After the war, after Katsuki’s death, he had been in and out of the hospital. He had to do rehab, physical therapy, all those sorts of things on his road to recovery. He knew he was lucky to be alive.

But it also gave him a lot of trauma.

He hated being touched—it reminded him of all of Shigaraki’s hands on him, reaching toward him the day his heart stopped.

He became more of a germaphobe, more cautious of who touched him and his stuff. He was still an arrogant bastard, but he was just a little more humble now.
