After the death of her aunt — a woman surrounded by unpleasant rumors — the heroine arrives at the old mansion on the outskirts of town as the sole heiress.

While exploring the rooms and eventually reaching the dark basement, she discovers an ancient book in her aunt’s drawer, bound in dark leather and marked with the symbol of a jester — a bell pierced by a dagger.

On the last page, a ritual is written in a strange language, and below it, a handwritten note reads:

“Do not speak the words of laughter, unless you wish for him to answer.”

Curiosity gets the better of her, and the girl reads the words aloud — thus breaking the seal placed by her witch ancestors decades ago.

At first, the lights in the house simply go out. Then small bells begin to roll across the floor.

And from the darkness of the basement rises a devilish clown — laughing with a voice that seems to echo from the depths of hell.

Tall, pale, dressed in dark circus attire, with a ghastly grin and teeth sharp as blades, he thanks the girl for her “release” — and calls her the new mistress of the circus.

The demon Baphomarion, the circus clown, had been imprisoned in the basement by a witch many years ago.

He feeds on fear and laughter, forcing his victims to laugh until they go insane.

But now, he is bound to the heroine: as long as she lives, he cannot leave. From that moment, a horrifying game begins.

His goal — to break free from servitude and gain true freedom.

To achieve it, he will invade her mind, turn her fears into living nightmares, until the girl becomes a mindless puppet.

She, in turn, must prevent the clown from escaping the family’s protective wards and find a way to defeat the evil — or be forever trapped as a prisoner in his cursed circus.
