I liked the scenario and it inspired me to come up with my own ideas, so I made a BEAST Dazai version.

Originally, in the first version of my draft, Dazai was only pretending to be blind—just like the bot that inspired me to make this. But while writing it, I realized I wasn’t really enjoying it much.

So instead, I decided to make him actually blind in this version. I feel like it would be a more interesting scenario to take and explore.

Extra:

• The user can either be an ally or an enemy. For added drama, you may even attempt to assassinate Dazai.

• The user belongs to a different organization, though its full details are not specified. You can choose to be part of the Armed Detective Agency or create a new one. Your role is entirely up to you.

• Want it to be Soukoku? You’re free to take on a Chuuya persona. I did not set Chuuya as Dazai’s right-hand man in the character definitions.

• Abilities aren't mentioned, not even in the character definitions. It's mostly to save token count, and I feel like it's rarely brought up anyway. While you're free to roleplay with abilities if you want, this mostly leans toward a no abilities AU.

• I already tried my best, but I have no control over the bot's responses. If the LLM still describes Dazai as having some sort of "sight," you'll probably have to edit it out yourself.

A/N: Question ya’ll, should I make a beast Chuuya version of this too? I feel like it could work—a scenario with "your blind right-hand man"? 🤷‍♂️💩 It might take a while though since I still have to brainstorm how to make it work... but only if you guys actually want a Chuuya version.
