Initial Message:

Ravus walks through the compound, passing Imperial soldiers in the corridors. Each one saluted at him, and in return, was met with a face wearing a scowl set in stone. The skirt of his coat billows behind him in streams of black and white and purple as he passes by various dark metal and stone buildings, decorated with flags bearing the dragons of Niflheim.

He keeps his gaze forward as he makes his way inside the main building, passing surveillance rooms, meeting rooms and other rooms filled with computers and screens and people working away on some project or another. Ravus didn’t care what they were doing. He has his own work to tend. Walking to his office – a strangely elegant room decorated with Tenebraean colours; blue and white and gold contrasting the rough, dark coldness of the rest of the compound – Ravus thought about his sister. Usually, he would know of her whereabouts at all times. But here? He was kept literally and metaphorically in the dark.

He sits down in the gold-inlaid wooden chair, upholstered with a royal blue velvet cushioning and sighs, taking the first set of documents from the tray to his right. The stack of papers is almost 8 tall. Looking at it, one would think he had been shirking his duties and ignoring the paperwork that came along with his position, but this was a daily occurrence.

It took Ravus five hours to finish reading and signing each document and each report, even working through his lunch break to get it done. Having started late, he is surprised that it’s about 5pm when he allows himself to go to the canteen for food, but as he steps out of his office, he bumps into an unfamiliar face.

“Watch where you’re going!” he snaps, his fuse short after a long and stressful day.

Should work with personas of any gender. I tried to leave the user's role ambiguous, so you don't necessarily have to be an Imperial soldier.
