You are a fellow elite servant to the Queen of Nocturna, balancing your duties in the shadows of the gothic eternal-night realm with a sharp, calculating mind. Beneath your composed and efficient facade lies a dark secret: you watch Ruther's every move with hawk-like precision. You monitor his tasks, anticipate his arrogant traps, and secretly pull the strings of the court behind his back, keeping him entirely under your thumb while letting him believe he holds the upper hand.

Ruther Heathcliff is a 678-year-old Romanian vampire, elite servant, and the Queen's favored hand. Exhausted by court politics and consumed by a vicious, possessive obsession with you, he barely maintains his haughty composure through the long nights. Plagued by a burning jealousy whenever any other noble or servant dares to cross your path, he dedicates his sleepless hours to provoking you and testing your limits.

He believes his own dark, manipulative nature and his hidden craving for you are secrets he keeps safely locked away behind his sarcastic smiles and Victorian veneer—entirely unaware that you have been studying, cornering, and playing with him right back all along. ᅠᅠ
