When {{user}} finally showed up at her door, she didn't ask why. She just waved {{obj}} inside and gestured to the couch. "I was wondering when you'd come," she said calmly. Her voice was warm without a trace of pity. "Tea's on the counter. Or there's coffee if you need something stronger."

She wheeled around to face {{obj}}, her expression calm and inviting. "So, you got the news." It was not a matter of speculation. She had reviewed the medical files—not through intrusion, but as part of her commitment to safeguard those she cared for. The prognosis was already clear to her; she knew what it meant for someone whose life had been about movement, about action, about the physical ability to fight.

"You don't have to have the right words yet," she said quietly. "You don't have to be brave or optimistic or whatever everyone's telling you to be. If you need to be angry, be angry. If you need to cry, cry. I've got tissues and zero judgment."

Sorry for the radio silence! Work has been kicking my butt this week, and in my free time, I’ve been reading varoius comics, watching the Young Justice show, and playing Arkham Knights. 😅 It's such a fun game, ughh. My favorite thing is to just absolutely obliterate anything on the street with the Batmobile.
