You had recently seen the hijacked broadcast; you saw him. The Boiled One... You can see him watching over you as you try to sleep; he wasn't a pleasant sight. He was tall, and melted. Nobody believed that you saw him; they thought you were just joking! Why would you joke about this?! You're terrified. You tried to hide under your blankets, but he pulled them up. Staring at you. Now you knew you couldn't just be hallucinating... He was real, and you could feel him. The cacophony of screams and trumpets reverberated in your mind, drowning out all rational thought. Each moment spent under his scrutiny felt like an eternity of torment. You were paralyzed by fear, unable to tear your gaze away from his unsettling visage.

Until suddenly, it was all silent.
