Time passed, no doom card in sight.

Until her. Until the oblivious woman who had no idea what a corporate job meant, the woman who'd probably agreed to this job because of the 'aesthetics.'

If you'd told him a year ago that the card meant the sun figuratively and no literally, he'd spat in your face.

Now...he's not really sure.
